Pyjama & Corset sets

I've been working on some Pyjama & Corset sets, they're in the Dolly Mixture Etsy shop now!

Thanks to everyone who ordered the Red & White Stripy set, they are now sold out!

Poupée Méchanique Pierrot

Just a quick snap of Leeloo in her beautiful Poupée Méchanique outfit, with the cute little mini canvas & easel that Keds got me for my birthday.

The Pierrot outfit is so perfect, Leeloo might never wear anything else ever again.

I took Leeloo to the Botanic Garden for a photo shoot at the end of the day just before closing so that I'd get the nice evening light. These ones were taken in the Autumn colour garden. I plan to go back soon with a different lens & take more photos.

My current obsession - Princess à la Mode. I haven't so much as considered a new dolly in a long, long time... trust me to fall in love with a super rare & expensive one! The other B I'm craving at the mo' is Ichigo Heaven who is nearly as expensive!

Oh well, at least I can enjoy all the gorgeous photos of other peoples princesses on Flickr. I blame Lady Emerald for starting this obsession!

London Dolly Meet

I had a really fun time at a London Dolly Meet at Waterstones Picadilly at the weekend. It was so nice to see everyone again, meet new people & see so many pretty dollies! I'm still on a dolly high.

Sweeney Todd inspired Blythe Dress

I *finally* finished the Sweeney Todd inspired dress that I started making after seeing the film. I made it mostly from memory as screen caps were hard to find before the DVD was released, so the sleeves are a little different. I did try draping fabric along the bottom of the dress, as in the film, but it looked too bottom heavy. Anyway I am very pleased with the results & the dress was sold in my Etsy shop!

The red & white striped gown was inspired by the beautiful dress worn by Mrs Lovett in Tim Burton's Film version of Sweeney Todd.

The dress has been handmade to fit Blythe Dolls from red & white striped cotton fabric. The bodice is trimmed with red silk ribbon and decorated with a row of pearl beads on the front of the bodice and a cluster of three pearl beads on each puffy sleeve. The floor length skirt is trimmed with ruffles. The dress closes with metal poppers at the back.

Perfect for a stroll on the pier with the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, this dress will look gorgeous on goth & lolita girls as well as dark haired beauties.

Emerald Witch Dress & Hat set on Etsy

This cute polka dot dress and hat set has been handmade for Emerald Witch dolls.

The dress has long sleeves trimmed with white lace, a high collar, a ribbon belt with buckle and milkshake pink buttons. The ruffled skirt is trimmed with fuzzy milkshake pink pom poms!

The hat, made from matching dotty fabric, is based on the original 1972 Emerald Witch pointy hat. The brim is fully lined in polka dot fabric and the hat has been decorated with a piece of vintage pink lace and a sea green sequin flower which matches Emeralds hair colour!

The Emerald Witch Doll & her shoes are not included.

The dress was made using Leo's patterns from DollyDolly. ^_^
